Hey girls...glad you could join us this weekend.  It was, by far, the best weekend we have had!  I hope all of you enjoyed yourselves and got a lot accomplished.  We hope to see you at the next crop!

To all our croppers we want to extend a big THANK YOU for making our weekend so enjoyable! You are what NJ Crop weekends are all about. The laughter, Sharing and the overall atmosphere is what makes it so much fun for us the demonstrators. So once again Thank You and hope to see you all in May.

Weekend is Coming!!

Are you ready for some scrapbooking, girlfriends and time away? Well it's less than 48 hours away!

I have my pictures, tools and paper almost packed. I am thinking tonight my plan is to go through my pictures I want to scrap and figure out my themes. Pick my paper color scheme and what embellishments I want to use. Since I am doing a Baby Boy album for a Friend, I am thinking I would want to use, bashful blue, night of navy, almost navy, all the neutrals, so saffron, daffodil delight, and greens. Maybe some Cajun craze and pumpkin pie. If you are not sure what colors to put together, use your color coach! And if you don't have one, order one from your Demo this weekend, so you have it for next time. It's a must have.

As far as embellishments ,I will plan to bring, buttons, brads, ribbon and use the big shot to make my own die cuts. Yes we will have a Big Shot and many dies for you to use  and the Cricut. I will also bring a few stickers. A few years ago I went to a crop and left all my stickers home and I had a ton. Well! I learned to do my pages without them and used my resources there and made my own. Since then I have used very few stickers or none at all! I guess you can say I am now Sticker Free!

When you come to the crop and realize you forgot something, don't fret!  Ask around, go to the help desk and ask questions or for some help. That is what we are here for, and we have the best scrapbooking customers ever. They are more than happy to help their fellow scrapper in need! So Happy Scrapping and SEE YOU AT THE CROP!!

Queen of the Spring Crop

Be a NJ Crop Weekends Queen of the Crop!!!

Our next crop - the Spring Crop Weekend - is coming up from May 20-22,2011!  If you register and pay IN FULL for your package by this Sunday, February 27, you will be a Queen of the Crop!

So what exactly does that mean, you ask?

The Queens of our Crop get to take advantage of some extra perks:

• PRIORITY SEATING - All queens are able to choose their seat.  We will do our best to keep the rest of your table open for your friends, but there are no guarentees. (Your best bet is to have your friends be Queens as well!!)  Queen seating is offered first come, first served.
• EARLY CROP ROOM ENTRY - All queens can enter the Crop Room at 8:00AM on Friday.  That's TWO bonus hours to unpack, settle in, and start cropping before anyone else arrives at 10:00!!!
• CLASS DISCOUNT - All queens receive a 10% discount on all classes at the weekend.
• PRIORITY FOR TABLE MASSAGE APPOINTMENTS - Our fabulous table massage therapists have very limited appointments.  As a queen, you are guaranteed to get an appointment if you'd like one.
• EXTRA DOOR PRIZE TICKETS - All queens end up with at least 10 more door prize tickets than everyone else.  More tickets means more chances to win!!
• DECORATED SEATS - Everyone will know you are a queen by the great decorations on your seat!!

Things to think about before the crop!

" Not every page has to be a masterpiece." - simplify...and don't worry.  If you forget something...someone in the room will probably have it!!

"Life is just a scrapbook waiting for us to put it on acid free paper" - Every thing you do this weekend, would be something you would want to scrapbook, just for yourself.  Remember, this is a time to relax, have fun, and enjoy time with friends.

"The more organized you are, the more time you have to scrapbook."- If you find some time before you start to pack, figure out what you would like to accomplish!

"A PICTURE is worth a THOUSAND words, but a scrapbook page is worth a MILLION memories......" - You are creating "history" with your scrapbooks.  A world for your family and friends to enjoy, reminisce, and embrace.

"Born to Crop! Not to Mop!" - No working this weekend...only cropping!

ONLY ONE WEEK AWAY....CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU ALL THERE!

Lets see are you involved in any swaps? Need to get those ready

Go over weekend scrapbook or card making plan. If you need any last minute supplies need to order them NOW to get them in time.

Print Pictures, You might want to go in the Hot Tub bring that bathing suit.

Did you check the contests out? You might want to do so and make sure you have some extra supplies.

Pack up all your STRESS and leave that bag HOME we are in for a great time this weekend.

 

Start preparing for the weekend

Hey girls-

Did you know the crop is only 16 days away.   A good suggestion is to start thinking about what you would like to accomplish while your there...scrapbooking, card making, sleeping, relaxing...anything you can dream up...

But if you are planning to scrapbook, start thinking about what you want to scrapbook.  Get those pictures printed.  Start thinking about papers and embellishments.

Card makers, make sure you get those ideas flowing now so you know what stamps to bring, inks you will need, embellishments, and paper.

We LOVE our contests and games!

For those of you who have joined us at a crop weekend before, you know we love our contests and games.  We try to create some extra fun within the whole weekend.  So those of you who are new to our weekends, you are in for an awesome time.   Here are some sneak peeks into what we will be offering this weekend.

1.  Get those memories working...you will need it for our Friday night "Memory Game"...something new and a way that you will be able to win a bunch of door prize tickets!

2.  Come up with some of your favorite "famous" people...you will have the opportunity to use your creativity to create our "famous build a bear".

3. Supply Baggie Creation...30 people will have a chance to create an incredible project using a "fun supply baggie"...what can you come up with?

4.  Our "standard" BINGO will remain the same...EXCEPT, with a twist. It's all about the SCRAP!!!
