We are excited to be offering several project kits for pre-purchase at our Fall Crop Weekend!  These kits will be waiting for you at the Help Desk when you check in and you can choose to complete them at the crop or take them home and complete them there.

You will love these new kits!  Each one comes with instructions and all the materials to make the project.  They are easy to make and will save you lots of time.  Attendees in the past comment on how easy they are and have had great results.  There is no limit to the amount you can order, so think about your upcoming holiday gifts!!

Fall 2012 Classes

 

We are happy to announce the classes for the Fall Crop 2012.  Please read below for all the specifics.

ALL classes will be just one hour long and each will be $20.  You will need to bring scissors, a paper trimmer, and adhesives of your choice to each class.  Class project photos are posted below.

Classes will be limited to 8 people, so please reserve early. Your payment is your only guarantee and reservation in the class.  Class registration ends on October 26.

In this technique based class you will make 3 great cards! Learn how to color with blender pens, paper pierce, created 3D folded flowers, and more! Bring your basic tool kit to class.

 

2-Page Holiday Layout Class - 5 spots left

Do you take a ton of pictures during the holidays? Are you not quite sure how to fit them all on 1 layout? In this class learn how to add even more photos to a layout by creating a filmstrip! Your class fee includes the supplies to create the 2 page layout, instructions, and embellishment pack. Bring your basic tool kit to class including a strong adhesive such as Sticky Strip.

 

Make Your Own Embellishments Class - 6 spots left
Saturday, November 10, 2:30PM - 3:30PM
Instructor: Jen Peel

In this Embellishments Class, you will create several unique holiday embellishments for your scrapbook pages, cards, or other paper crafting using paper, fabric, punches, and other "common" scrapbooking materials.  We'll use many items from the Holiday Catalog.  You'll walk away with great new embellishments and the knowledge to create even more! Bring your basic tool kit to class.

 

2-Page Fall Layout Class - 8 spots left
Sunday, November 11, 10:00AM - 11:00AM
Instructor: Jen Peel

Create a great fall layout full of TEXTURE suitable for pumpkin picking, leaf jumping, or Thanksgiving dinner!  We'll use the Wonderfall stamp set from the Holiday Catalog, the Big Shot, and techniques such as distressing and direct to paper! Your class fee includes the supplies to create the 2 page layout, instructions, and embellishment pack. Bring your basic tool kit to class, including dimensionals.

 

Fall 2012: Swaps!

We have two great swaps planned for our Fall Crop in November and we'd love you to join us!

Chocolate Swap: Yes, it's back!!!  And this is as easy (or as creative) as you'd like it to be.  Package up 12 (bags, boxes, etc.) of your favorite chocolates as creatively (or not) as you'd like and bring enough for all the swappers.  This swap will close at 12 swappers.  And to sweeten the deal a little, everyone who participates and does something creative with their chocolate will earn an extra door prize ticket.  AND we will vote on a winner for THE most creative presentation, and that lucky winner will win a little something special!!! (We added a picture to start those creative juices flowing!!)

The Chocolate Swap will take place on Saturday morning at 9:30AM.  If you are not attending that day, please make sure you deliver your chocolate to someone who can swap it out for you at that time.

 

Holiday Gift Tag Swap: Every package looks prettier with a beautiful gift tag attached!  Join us in swapping Holiday Gift Tags!  Create 8 of the same tags and swap them out with the other participants; the sky is the limit as far as ideas.  This swap will close at 8 people.

The Holiday Gift Tag swap will take place Saturday at 8:00PM.  If you are not attending that day, please make sure you deliver your tags to someone who can swap them out for you at that time.

 

To participate in either swap, email Jen. Remember, swaps numbers are limited, so please sign up early!  Deadline to sign up for the swaps is Wednesday, October 31.

Fall 2012 Crop Weekend Accommodations

The system is set up to receive Room Block Reservations for our Fall Crop Weekend.  Rooms are available for just $89/night, plus tax  There are rooms set aside for us on Thursday 11/8, Friday 11/9, and Saturday 11/10.  You can reserve your overnight rooms one of two ways:

Be an NJ Crop Weekends Queen of the Crop!!!

Our next crop - the Fall 2012 Crop Weekend - is coming up from November 9-11, 2012!  If you register and pay IN FULL for your package by Sunday, August 12, you will be a Queen of the Crop!

So what exactly does that mean, you ask?

We asked some Queens from our Winter Crop Weekend that exact question!!  To see what they said, please watch this video!

The Queens of our Crop get to take advantage of some extra perks:

• PRIORITY SEATING - All queens are able to choose their seat.  We will do our best to keep the rest of your table open for your friends, but there are no guarentees. (Your best bet is to have your friends be Queens as well!!)  Queen seating is offered first come, first served.
• EARLY CROP ROOM ENTRY - All queens can enter the Crop Room at 8:00AM on Friday.  That's TWO bonus hours to unpack, settle in, and start cropping before anyone else arrives at 10:00!!!
• CLASS DISCOUNT - All queens receive a 10% discount on all classes at the weekend.
• PRIORITY FOR TABLE MASSAGE APPOINTMENTS - Our fabulous table massage therapists have very limited appointments.  As a queen, you are guaranteed to get an appointment if you'd like one.
• EXTRA DOOR PRIZE TICKETS - All queens end up with at least 10 more door prize tickets than everyone else.  More tickets means more chances to win!!
• DECORATED SEATS - Everyone will know you are a queen by the great decorations on your seat!!

FALL 2012 CROP WEEKEND

UPDATE: Monday, November 5

In the interest of safety, we have decided to officially cancel our Fall Crop Weekend. We sincerely apologize to everyone, but just did not feel it was right or safe to hold the event. Although the Dolce did get power back last night, both Jessica and Jen are still without power, phone and internet, with no knowledge of when it will return. Adding to this is the threat of another storm on Wednesday and Thursday. We felt it was in everyone's best interest to cancel.

We apologize to those of you who got the cancellation notice from the Dolce before us. Full refunds will be given by NJ Crop Weekends or you can use your payment toward our Winter Crop Weekend (February 8-10). Please check your email for information on refunds. We hope everyone is safe and out of harm's way. Thank you for your understanding.
